‘Harbour’ 2007 mixed media.
I am delighted that Art Van Go have offered me their gallery space throughout April to exhibit a retrospective of my work. The collection entitled “The Simple Act of Walking”
The exhibition shows my mixed media work dating from my ‘Harbour’ painting 2007 which was awarded the Margaret Harvey Prize for Welwyn and Hatfield and continues through to my mono print work and mixed media paintings, made for Parndon Mill group exhibition ‘Encounters’ 2015.
The exhibition then continues to the very recent mixed media work based on observations whilst walking through the Cornish landscape. These pieces are abstracted land and seascapes which reference dual perspective panoramic images and sketches.

Her work represents an appreciation and acceptance of the transient nature of our world, with a beauty that lies in imperfection, impermanence and an appreciation of the simple integrity of objects and processes
